ZaneHRA is a robust web-based SaaS (software-as-a-service) platform that allows employers to manage personal health policies and/or provide real-time reimbursement of personal health policy premiums and other employee medical expenses. Employers open and manage their ZaneHRA completely online, electronically enroll participants and print welcome kits, and monitor expenses and reimbursements in real-time. Employees obtain their own personal health policies, submit premium and medical expenses online, via fax, or mail, and receive same-day reimbursement via check, payroll addition, or direct deposit. Employers also use ZaneHRA for wellness programs and to save money on group health policies by raising the annual deductible and reimbursing employees in real-time for their under-deductible medical expenses.

The founder/developer of ZaneHRA (Zane Benefits, Inc.) also founded Extend Health, Inc. in 1999. Today, Extend Health primarily serves large retiree populations (e.g. GM, Ford and Chrysler) while Zane Benefits helps employers provide primacy health benefits for current employees.
